This will be my donation to the Sutter Breast Cancer Auction along with 8 other quilts, one each made by my Spring Chicks group. (They're not supposed to see this one until August when it's due but I can't help myself).
Below is the detail of the quilting that a longarm quilter from my quilt guild, Cathy Evans, added. I hope someone finds this quilt worthy of donating some serious money for this great cause.

I love that pattern!! So much nicer than mine. My Sutter Donation Quilt is much scrappier but I think I will hand quilt it (straight lines work great) and do a fancy pattern in my blank spots. I do love the machine quilting!! btw, I was up at 5:00 waiting for this but nothing until I get to work? Dang.

Two finishes in a week is a great accomplishment! This is a beautiful quilt and will definitely attract attention. I'm plugging away on my UFO #4 but will only get it to the flimsy stage before the deadline. It's been a busy month!

We have our Quilts of Love Show by the Giving Quilt Guild in a couple weeks. All year long we collect charity quilts and they display them and give them out in May. It is amazing to see!
